With guidance from some of the most revered artists, our academy’s systematic learning approach is rooted in the unique traditions (gharana) of these maestros, offering invaluable resources to students at every level.

Founded by Shri Venugopal Hegde, a flutist known for his unmatched skill and deep devotion to music, Sangeetapriya Academy was created with the vision of sharing Indian classical music with a global audience. Shri Venugopal Hegde’s dream of a comprehensive online learning platform came to life through this initiative, helping countless students explore the beauty of classical music.

The academy was launched on Basant Panchami 2024, at the residence of Guruma Annapurna Devi, a veteran of the Maihar-Senia Gharana, by Pt. Nityananda Haldipur and Shri Venugopal Hegde, marking a new chapter in bringing classical music education to aspirants worldwide.
